Re: Sullivan Sprint Triathlon

Okay goal time for me is to finish Sullivan in 1:35 or less. I hope this isn't pushing it too much but I feel okay with it. I am sure my bike time will suffer for lack of training in this area but I am not as strong in the bike portion as I am in the swim and run. Only time will tell!

Re: Nutrition

Chris thanks for taking the time to produce such a detailed post on nutrition. We all try to encourage one another in our training and sometimes forget that what we eat is also part of our training process. Some of what was written spoke right to me. What I may be doing wrong and solidified what I w...

I will be focusing on my ride a lot more in the coming weeks in prep for Sullivan. My anxiety has moved away from swimming and n...

Danvers Days 5K

Hey everyone I haven't been to track workout or TT's for several weeks due to vacation and working my brains out; however, I have been training still running and riding too. Today the Cate's family and I turned out in force and did well at the Danvers Days 5K. Big Gary (Patty's Husband) smoked all o...

Firecracker 5000 - 09

Just wanted to let everyone know that the 28th Annual Firecracker 5000 was a great time even with the rain. However, if you look at the race results on IVS.org you will notice that our times are not recorded properly (reason unknown). I guess if you do the math our posted times are all 42 seconds of...
